Job Description:
The co-op is searching for a full time Grocery Manager. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
The Grocery Manager is responsible for:
* Overseeing and performing all duties up to Food Safety and Compliance Standards
* Managing a team of employees in the grocery department to work cooperatively while encouraging enthusiasm, loyalty, and creativity
* Maintaining the stock, supplies, and inventory of the grocery department, including ordering, tagging, and merchandising
* Working cooperatively with other co-op employees towards the co-op’s goals and mission
We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in the Retail Grocery Industry as a Grocery Manager
- The ability to lead a team responsibly with clear, effective communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a teamwork atmosphere to meet department goals
- A solid understanding of Food Safety and Compliance Standards
- Availability to work a full-time schedule
