On January 19, 2022, the KCFC Board of Directors voted unanimously to appoint Vincent Gavigan as interim director-at-large. Gavigan will be seated until the next elected board is seated in June 2022.
Residing in Port Richmond since 2019 with his wife, some of Gavigan’s interests in KCFC relate to increasing support of local farmers & producers as well as lifting the community and neighbors through supporting service initiatives and projects that impact everyone’s wellbeing
Gavigan’s professional life is centered around talent acquisition, one of the strengths the current board hopes to lean on with the upcoming search for a new full-time General Manager. Gavigan offered that he has “served in leadership capacities over the past four years, overseeing business planning, strategy, and people development. Having the privilege to manage and lead others has allowed me to develop skills in corporate strategy, data analytics, budget planning, executive readouts, and mentorship. I am on a continuous journey of centering my life around serving my community and being a connector to others by creating strong networks and sharing life experiences.”
